5.1. Methodological overview

Master classes will be combined with interactive, small-group workshops.

5.2. Learning tasks

The theoretical part of the course is covered by 30 hours (2 hours per week) of master classes. These must be complemented by the student’s personal effort outside the classroom.

For the practical part of the course there will be 30 hours (2 hours per week) of interactive, small-group workshops. The focus is on active student participation and academic discussion. The student’s personal effort outside the classroom is necessary too. Alongside regular workshops, there will be 4 hours (2 sessions of 2 hours each) of non-periodic workshops.

In-the-classroom activites are 2.4 credits – 1.2 credits of theoretical classes and 1.2 credits of practical workshops. An additional 3.6 of non-classroom activities, including examination time and the student’s personal effort, should be considered as well.
